Ward Details
This post is based in a 16-bedded ward providing care for a wide range of conditions, including day cases. The ward's ethos is to promote self-care, independence, and timely discharge, along with delivering palliative and end-of-life care. The ward also has community access beds to promote rapid assessment and discharge.
The ward works closely with the wider Primary Health and Social Care Team.
Role Requirements
The successful RN (Adult) will be required to work a rotation of day shifts, night shifts, and weekends.

Working Hours Update
NHS Scotland is reducing the full-time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours starting 1 April 2024, with no change in pay. This change is pro-rata for part-time staff. The advert and employment offer reflect these new hours. Some service areas may require temporary additional hours up to 30 minutes per week until roster changes accommodate the new hours.
