Teaching and Learning
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Curriculum for Wales.
Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including ALN pupils.
Use a range of teaching strategies to support literacy, numeracy, and digital competence.
Assess, record, and report on pupil progress in line with school policies.
Classroom Management
Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
Promote high expectations of behaviour and learning.
Foster pupils wellbeing, confidence, and independence.
Professional Responsibilities
Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and senior leaders.
Communicate effectively with parents/carers regarding pupil progress and wellbeing.
Participate in staff meetings, professional learning, and school events.
Contribute to whole-school improvement initiatives.
Person Specification
Essential Criteria
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) recognised in Wales.
Experience of teaching in a primary school setting (including NQTs/ECTs if applicable).
Knowledge and understanding of the Curriculum for Wales.
Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
