Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off (12-hour night shifts)

The Role
We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Waking Night Support Worker to join our dedicated team. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety, security, and emotional wellbeing of the children throughout the night, while maintaining a calm and supportive presence.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide consistent overnight care and supervision for young people
* Monitor the home environment to ensure safety and security throughout the night
* Support with bedtime routines, emotional reassurance, and overnight needs
* Complete nightly logs, incident reports, and handovers for the day team
* Maintain professional boundaries and follow safeguarding procedures at all times
* Assist with light domestic duties to maintain a clean and comfortable environment
* Work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure continuity of care
What We're Looking For
* Experience working with children or young people (residential or similar setting preferred)
* Understanding of safeguarding and child protection responsibilities
* Ability to stay calm in challenging situations and respond with empathy
* Excellent communication, observation, and record-keeping skills
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work a rolling 4 on / 4 off shift pattern
* Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards)
* Full UK driving licence is desirable but not essential
