Your Contribution To Prysmian's Success We are currently recruiting for a Shift Manager to join our Wrexham factory. As a Shift Manager you will be responsible for around 35 team members on the shopfloor. Working on a 4on/4off continuous shift pattern days and nights (7am-7pm/7pm-7am) What You’ll Do Compliance & Safety Champion site safety standards and ensure full compliance with Health, Safety and Quality procedures. Lead first‑response investigations into incidents, downtime and quality issues. Support Team Leaders with SIC routines and ensure strong daily checks and handovers. Communication Keep production teams informed through clear briefs, updates and effective shift handovers. Share shift performance reports and align priorities in start/end‑of‑shift meetings. Work closely with cross‑functional teams to resolve issues quickly. People Support Help identify training needs and ensure essential training is completed. Act as the first point of contact for people matters such as absence, return‑to‑work, holidays and timekeeping. Coordinate overtime and ensure staffing coverage supports operational needs. Process Flow Monitor WIP and non‑conformities to keep production on plan and set the next shift up for success. Support daily production planning and address changes as they arise. Maintain strong shop‑floor presence and act as the key out‑of‑hours contact. You Are The Right Fit If You Have/are Proven experience within manufacturing or similar production environments. Preferably knowledge of extrusion processes and/or computer‑controlled manufacturing equipment, however not essential. Understanding of 6S and good housekeeping practices. Proactive approach with a positive, can‑do attitude. Confident using PCs for data entry, quality checks and accessing production information. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Self‑starter who takes initiative and works well independently and with others.
