This role is with a global household business owning many brands we all love and use daily. They seek an experienced and ambitious Procurement Manager to join their team.
The position reports to the Head of Category Management and manages key spend areas such as MRO, International Freight, Warehousing, Operational Spend, and Utilities. Candidates with a broad range of indirect category management experience are encouraged to apply.
Role and responsibilities:
* Develop strategies with measurable savings and performance metrics, including annualized savings
* Create group-wide category plans ensuring alignment and leveraging suppliers to support local offices
* Engage and influence senior stakeholders from Directors to Board members using strong market knowledge
* Build relationships with key stakeholders to understand supplier performance
* Monitor supplier risk and performance through reporting tools and feedback
* Model procurement excellence by embodying company values and promoting procurement relationships
* Deliver strategic projects and ensure optimal service and cost efficiency
Experience and requirements:
* Experience in indirect category management within large, complex organizations
* Preferred categories include Warehousing, International Freight, MRO, Logistics & Operations
* Procurement experience in the private sector, especially in global companies
* Experience managing complex global projects with Tier 1 & 2 suppliers
* Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders across regions
* Strategic approach to procurement, suppliers, and business needs
* Excellent communication skills across cultures and countries
* Adaptability in fast-paced, changing environments
* MCIPS qualification preferred but not essential
