Our nursery in Ilford is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Childcare Nursery Administrator to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our nursery, providing administrative support to the management and childcare staff, and delivering excellent customer service to parents and guardians.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably within a childcare or educational setting.
* Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and nursery management software.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Knowledge of childcare regulations and safeguarding policies.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* A relevant qualification in administration, childcare, or business management is desirable.
Responsibilities:
* Manage nursery admissions, registrations, and waiting lists.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of children, staff, and nursery operations.
* Handle enquiries from parents and provide necessary information.
* Oversee financial administration, including invoicing, payments, and budgeting.
* Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safeguarding requirements.
* Assist in the recruitment and on boarding process of nursery staff.
* Coordinate staff schedules, training, and professional development.
* Support nursery management with reports, policies, and procedures.
* Order and manage nursery supplies and equipment.
* Organise events, meetings, and communications for staff and parents
Schedule: Up to 40 hours per week
