Peel are recruting for a account manager/sales manager for one of our clients. They're a specialist contractor focused on fire and smoke damper inspections, testing and compliance. Operating across the UK, the business supports commercial, healthcare, education and hospitality sectors, delivering structured and auditable compliance services aligned with current industry standards.
You will take ownership of developing new business and managing key accounts within the FM sector, with a strong focus on clients such as CBRE. The role is suited to someone with a background in damper testing, duct cleaning or ventilation compliance who understands how FM providers operate.
Salary and Package:
* £40,000 (Negotiable for the right experience)
* 5% commission on invoice value, uncapped.
* Remote position with travel to clients.
Location:
* Midlands (home-based with occasional site visits)
* M6 corridor
* M1 corridor
Responsibilities include:
* Develop new business opportunities within the FM market
* Build and manage relationships with FM providers, including CBRE
* Promote fire damper inspections, testing and duct compliance services
* Manage existing accounts and identify additional work streams
* Attend client meetings and occasional site visits across the UK
* Prepare and present proposals for new and existing clients
* Work closely with operational teams to ensure smooth delivery
* Maintain a consistent pipeline of opportunities
* Identify multi-site contract opportunities
* Stay up to date with compliance standards and industry requirements
