We have a thriving Technology faculty and we have a role available as a Teaching Support Officer in our Engineering Department.
Job Title: Teaching Support officer (technician) - Engineering
Location: Wisbech
Hours: 37 per week
Salary: £25,176 - 25,385 per annum
Responsibilities
* You will play an important part in supporting teaching staff by preparing workshops and classroom resources, helping to create an engaging and well-organised learning environment that enables learners to achieve their best.
* Support the delivery of teaching and learning in the Engineering Department and contribute to a positive student experience.
* Assist with arranging and preparing practical sessions, demonstrations and equipment for workshops, ensuring health and safety standards are observed.
* Collaborate with teaching staff to support learners with diverse needs and abilities.
Qualifications
* Minimum of a level 2 qualification in Engineering or a related subject.
* Industry experience.
* Level 2 maths and English qualifications (or willingness to obtain them within the first 3 years of employment).
