Electrical Maintenance Engineer (Contract)

Rate: £35 - £37.00 p/h (outside IR35)
Shift: 4 on 4 off (Days & Nights rotation – 6:00 to 18:00 / 18:00 to 6:00)
Start Date: ASAP
We're looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a busy manufacturing site. This is a hands-on role with a strong electrical bias, supporting production through a mix of reactive and planned maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out electrical maintenance, fault finding, and repairs
* Support reactive breakdowns and PPM activities
* Work on 3-phase systems, motors, inverters, and control panels
* Assist with electrical installations and modifications
* Help improve machine reliability and efficiency
Requirements:
* Level 3 engineering qualification
* Strong electrical fault-finding skills (PLC knowledge beneficial but not essential)
* Experience working with 3-phase systems, drives, motors, and control equipment
* Ability to read and work from electrical drawings
* Heavy industry background (beneficial)
Benefits:
* 4 on 4 off
* £33 - £35p/h
* Outside IR35 contract
* 3 month rolling with likelihood to extend
