If you're ready to take on a leadership role in an innovative school environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you.\n\nPrimary KS2 Class Teacher Responsibilities\n\n * Lead, inspire, and support the KS2 team, promoting high standards of teaching and learning in KS2.\n\n * Develop and implement creative and effective lesson plans for KS2 students that engage and challenge.\n\n * Oversee the delivery of the Key Stage 2 curriculum, ensuring it meets the needs of all students in KS2.\n\n * Monitor and assess student progress in KS2, providing targeted feedback and interventions to support achievement.\n\n * Develop and lead staff training and professional development opportunities within KS2, focusing on Science and Computing.\n\n * Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment in KS2 that promotes high expectations and a love of learning.\n\n * Regularly communicate with parents and guardians, providing updates on student progress in KS2 and addressing any concerns.\n\n * Contribute to whole-school initiatives and collaborate with other leadership team members to drive school improvement across KS2.\n\nPrimary KS2 Class Teacher Requirements\n\n * Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.\n\n * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.\n\n * Significant experience teaching in Key Stage 2, with a strong track record of improving student outcomes in KS2.\n\n * Experience in a leadership role or with leading teams is highly desirable.\n\n * Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and effective assessment methods for KS2.\n\n * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others in a KS2 setting.\n\n * A passionate leader who is committed to fostering an inclusive and high-achieving learning environment in KS2.\n\n * A collaborative, forward-thinking approach to leadership and school improvement within KS2.\n\n * Commitment to ongoing professional development and supporting others in their growth, particularly in Science and Computing.\n\nApplication\n\nIf you’re an ambitious and inspiring educator with leadership experience and a passion for Key Stage 2 teaching, we would love to hear from you!
