SimplyStay Lincoln Road Nursing Home is a new care service based in Skegness. Our 42 bed nursing home aims t o deliver compassionate, person-centred care to residents and day care clients, supporting their physical, emotional, and social needs in a safe and respectful environment. This role supports both residential and nursing care services, ensuring compliance with CQC standards and promoting dignity and independence. Job Overview Key Responsibilities Personalised Care Delivery Assist residents with personal hygiene, dressing, toileting, and mobility. Support individuals with complex needs, including dementia and physical disabilities. Provide companionship and emotional support to residents and day care attendees. Health & Wellbeing Assist with nutritional needs, including meal preparation and feeding. Monitor and report changes in physical or mental health to senior staff. Support senior staff, nurses and management in effective care services. Day Care Centre Support Welcome and assist day care clients with daily activities and routines. Facilitate social and recreational activities to promote engagement and wellbeing. Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all attendees. Teamwork & Communication Work collaboratively with nurses, care staff, and external professionals. Maintain accurate records of care provided and incidents observed. Attend training, supervision, and team meetings as required. Requirements Essential: A caring, patient, and respectful approach to care. Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and bank holidays. Commitment to completing the Care Certificate (if not already held). Good communication and teamwork skills. Desirable: Experience in a residential or nursing care setting NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care. Benefits: Paid training and development opportunities.
