Residential Conveyancer — Property – Residential
Responsibilities
* Manage and supervise other members of the residential conveyancing team, ensuring high standards of service delivery.
* Oversee a varied caseload of residential property transactions including freehold, leasehold, new builds, and shared ownership.
* Provide technical guidance and support to team members on complex matters.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
* Monitor performance, set objectives, and support professional development within the team.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, agents, and other stakeholders.
* Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance client experience.
* Support the Head of Department in delivering excellent financial performance and diligence, both personally and across the team.
Person Specification
* Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or Legal Executive with significant residential conveyancing experience.
* Proven leadership and team management experience.
* Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
* A proactive and collaborative approach to team development and client service.
Technical Knowledge
* Strong understanding of conveyancing procedures, SDLT, Land Registry, and lender requirements.
