Company Overview / Value Proposition
Novomorphic is a new venture backed by Cadence Design Systems, Welsh Government, and CSA Catapult – established to build critical semiconductor design capability in the UK. Our mission is clear: deliver advanced IC and electronic system design services to support SMEs, scale-ups and large organisations, while growing the UK’s talent base in digital, mixed-signal, and compound semiconductors.
We’re building a company from the ground up—with a culture of ownership, speed, and technical excellence. Everyone who joins has a real stake in shaping the business and its success.
This graduate opportunity is ideal for those who want more than a standard entry-level role. You’ll be exposed to real design environments early in your journey, using industry-standard tools like Cadence and contributing to solutions across AI, power electronics, telecoms, defence, aerospace, and more. Whether you come from a BSc, BEng, MSc, MEng, or PhD background—with academic depth or hands-on industrial experience—you’ll develop your engineering skills under the guidance of world-class mentors.
Position Overview
Novomorphic is seeking up to eight talented and driven graduate engineers to join our growing team. This is a hands-on engineering role designed for high-potential graduates—BSc, BEng, MSc, MEng, or PhD—who want to grow into roles in IC and electronics design across sectors such as AI, power electronics, automotive, aerospace, telecoms, and defence. You’ll gain experience in design, validation, IP development, and system-level thinking—supported by experienced engineers and best-in-class tools.
