Position Title: Warehouse Operative / Line feeder
Location: Lymington - Onsite
Position Overview
The individual will support the interaction between production and the warehouse to ensure that material is made available from the warehouse in a timely manner and help ensure machinery continues to operate. This role ensures safe and accurate handling of goods while maintaining quality, housekeeping, and compliance standards.
Primary Responsibilities
Follow all safety rules, procedures, and work instructions without exception.
Receive, unload, and move raw materials.
Conduct internal transfers using FIFO (First In, First Out) methodology.
Prepare and stage customer orders accurately and on time.
Perform visual checks on trucks/containers/tankers to prevent product damage.
Maintain accurate and complete documentation for all warehouse activities.
Operate warehouse equipment safely; complete daily forklift inspections.
Report non-conforming products, equipment defects, or safety concerns promptly.
Keep warehouse and work areas clean and organized in line with housekeeping standards.
Collaborate with supervisors, coworkers, and other departments to support warehouse operations.
Minimum Requirements
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work under limited supervision.
Basic computer skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel) and ERP systems (e.g., PRISM).Preferred Requirements
1+ year of experience in a warehouse or similar environment.
Forklift operation skills and certification.Physical Environment
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 kg.
Regular stair climbing and manual handling required.
The rate of pay is £13.00 per hour but will rise after training period and movement on to fixed late shift.
Hours: (Whilst training)
Mon-Thurs 06:00-14:00 Fri 06:00-13:00
(After training)
Mon-Thurs 14:00-22:00 Fri 11:00-16:00
This is a temporary to permanent role for the right person, initially be 3-6 Months
