Rotational Paediatric Physiotherapist

We are seeking a suitably qualified physiotherapist to join our Paediatric Physiotherapy team at the Bristol Royal Hospital for Children. This rotational post offers the chance to develop experience across a range of paediatric specialities, including neurosciences, acute medical and orthopaedics.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing assessment, diagnosis and treatment of children and adolescents with a wide variety of paediatric disorders, both for inpatients and outpatients.
* Working closely with specialist physiotherapists and the multidisciplinary team to deliver a regional shared‑care service.
* Managing an individualised inpatient and outpatient caseload independently.
* Supporting senior staff in the development of the service.
* Maintaining a Continuous Professional Development portfolio and undertaking CPD activities such as training sessions and relevant postgraduate courses.
Person Specification
Knowledge and Experience
* Postgraduate experience in core acute adult specialities.
* Experience of team working.
* Previous paediatric physiotherapy experience at graduate or undergraduate level.
* Experience working within the NHS.
Skills and Abilities
* Basic IT skills.
* Ability to work well as a team member.
* Ability to present information clearly, both written and oral.
* Fluent English communication skills.
* Evidence of involvement in audit, research or quality improvement projects.
Qualifications and Training
* Degree/Diploma in Physiotherapy.
* Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council.
* Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.
* Broad range of clinical undergraduate experience.
* Proven desire to work in a paediatric environment.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
* Flexibility and adaptability.

University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust provides acute services across 10 sites in South West England.
Pay: £32,073 to £39,043 a year (pro rata).
