This role would suit a chef who enjoys producing well-balanced food in a structured kitchen environment, while working closely with a wider care and hospitality team.

Responsibilities as Chef Prepare and cook meals in line with planned menus
Deliver high standards of food quality, nutrition, and presentation
Support stock control, deliveries, and food storage procedures
Ensure stock rotation and minimise waste
Train and support junior kitchen staff
Maintain compliance with Food Hygiene, Health & Safety, and COSHH regulations
Provide a professional and courteous service at all times
What Were Looking For NVQ Level 2 in Catering or equivalent preferred
Previous experience within catering or care environments advantageous
Strong understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety procedures
Calm, professional, and organised approach
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication skills and empathy towards older people
