Clinical Support Worker (CSW)
An exciting role within the Forward Thinking Birmingham Referral Management Centre. The CSW will play a key role in triaging children and young people’s biopsychosocial needs and ensuring they get to the correct service as quickly and accurately as possible.
Responsibilities
* Act as the first point of contact for incoming calls and referrals.
* Assess service user needs and triage referrals to the appropriate service according to urgency/priority and clinical suitability.
* Escalate enquiries to a qualified clinician when necessary and maintain a no wrong door approach.
* Collaborate with a dynamic multidisciplinary team, regularly accessing supervision and training.
* Liaise with service users, families, clinical teams, referrers within Forward Thinking Birmingham and external partners.
* Support efficient, timely, service‑user oriented processes.
Qualifications
* Psychology graduate or equivalent qualification.
