GXO is currently looking for an Assistant Finance Manager to join us at our site in Dover. You’ll assist in the effective management of the site finance department with all operational support activities, including preparation and submission of weekly forecasts, P&L reconciliations, budgeting, and period-end reporting in compliance with corporate policies and deadlines.
This role is offered on a full-time, permanent basis. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:00.

You’ll be paid a salary of up to £36,000.00 per annum and enjoy 25 days of annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:
* Completion of weekly and month-end management accounts to review with the operational management team
* Providing detailed analysis to the customer and the provision of monthly reporting packs, with supporting documents for financial charges
* Building relationships with key stakeholders and developing a deeper understanding of the operation
* Using initiative and judgment to support the leadership team in delivering operational excellence, challenging the status quo, and delivering maximum benefit to the business
What you need to succeed at GXO:
* Proven experience in a management accounting role
* CIMA / ACCA student or AAT qualified, or equivalent
* Ability to clear UK security checks
* Experience in building strong business relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Familiarity with open and closed book accounting principles is beneficial
* Commercially focused
