The Quality Assurance Department (QAD) is an independent department responsible for performing an annual programme of testing to ensure that key controls are effectively designed and operated, complying with external regulations, standards, and internal procedures. This involves reviewing completed engagements and providing feedback to engagement teams, management, and other stakeholders to promote continuous improvement in risk management, internal controls, and service quality. QAD is highly regarded within the firm for its importance, influence, and expertise.
We are seeking an Audit Quality Assurance Manager to join our team, with flexibility to be based at any regional office. We operate a hybrid working model, which may involve occasional travel to other UK offices.
You will:
* Complete audit assurance reviews focusing on large corporate and listed entities
* Support other QA reviewers, including managers and RIs, in audit assurance reviews
* Perform additional QA reviews and activities to provide assurance to the audit business and wider firm
* Identify and deliver feedback to relevant parties, highlighting good practices to support continuous audit quality improvement
* Collaborate with the Quality Assurance Director and team to enhance departmental effectiveness and efficiency
What we are looking for:

* Be ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
* Have experience working on large corporate and listed audit engagements in an Audit Manager role
* Possess outstanding communication skills to articulate complex issues clearly
* Have strong technical knowledge of audit and accounting standards
* Be able to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating effectively to achieve shared goals
