Job Description
The responsibilities of the Project Engineer:
1. Assist Project Managers with day-to-day project operations on active jobs.
2. Support the $26M Water Treatment Plant project in Plainville, MA through documentation, coordination, and communication.
3. Contribute to preconstruction efforts by assisting with bidding processes (5-10 projects per month).
4. Review and process submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
5. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
6. Track project schedules, costs, and procurement activities.
7. Support project close-out documentation and final reporting.
8. Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory standards on assigned projects.

The Successful Applicant
The successful Project Engineer:
9. 1-2 years of construction experience (open to slightly less or more).
10. Civil construction background strongly preferred; waste water experience is a major plus.
11. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
12. Strong organizational and communication skills.
13. Ability to work collaboratively in a small, team-oriented environment.
14. Must be commutable to Halifax, MA (no hybrid/remote).

15. Base salary: $70,000-$80,000 (up to $85K-$90K for candidates with 3+ years of strong relevant experience).
