As the Qualified Head Nurse (HN) you will you will lead the Pet hospital nursing team, providing a high standard of customer service and clinical care whilst promoting pet well being and supporting Veterinary Surgeons to deliver preventive services and to treat sick and injured pets of eligible clients.
You will line manage the Veterinary Nurse and Veterinary Care Assistant teams and will lead and develop your team to efficiently manage the day-to-day workflow through the hospital. You will be responsible for stock control, hygiene and cleanliness of the hospital and equipment and will support the Senior Veterinary Surgeon in managing income and expenditure at Pet hospital level making sure that PDSA resources are used in a cost effective manner.
You will be a Qualified RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse with an extensive track record including practice and people management and will be committed to the vision and mission of PDSA.
