Job Description
As Territory Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding market share across your region. Key responsibilities include:
3. Developing and executing a sales strategy to increase revenue within your territory
4. Building strong, long-term relationships with contractors, merchants, and key decision-makers
5. Identifying new business opportunities and converting prospects into customers
6. Managing the full sales cycle from initial contact through to negotiation and close
7. Maintaining regular visits to clients and project sites to ensure consistent engagement
8. Reporting on sales performance, pipeline, and market insights to management
9. Collaborating with internal teams to deliver a seamless customer experience
10. Representing the brand at trade shows, networking events, and industry forums
The Successful Applicant
11. Proven track record in sales, ideally within construction or building products
12. Strong business development skills with the ability to win new clients
13. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, able to influence at all levels
14. Self-motivated and target-driven, with the resilience to thrive in a competitive market
15. Capable of managing a territory effectively, balancing office and field-based work
16. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities at once
17. Ideally located within commutable distance of St Albans, or willing to travel when required
18. Professional, driven, and committed to building long-term client relationships

19. Competitive base salary of £60,000 per annum.
