Agency Catering Assistant – Care Homes & Care Settings Location: North East, North West, Midlands, Yorkshire | Flexible Shifts We’re looking for a dedicated Agency Catering Assistant to support care homes and care settings across the North East, North West, Midlands, and Yorkshire. This is a rewarding role for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen environment while helping to provide nutritious, high-quality meals that make a real difference to residents’ health and wellbeing. What You’ll Do: * Support chefs in preparing and serving meals to residents. * Assist in following IDDSI (International Dysphagia Diet Standardisation Initiative) guidelines for textured diets. * Help prepare meals in line with residents’ care plans and dietary requirements. * Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and kitchen safety. * Ensure all equipment and work areas are kept clean and compliant with food safety standards. * Adapt to new care settings and work effectively as part of different kitchen teams.
