Position Summary : The BID (Biosciences Division) Regional Market Development Manager (RMD) role at Thermo Fisher Scientific presents an exceptional opportunity to join a world-class team and make a positive impact on a global scale. BID RMD will drive the business strategic growth by strengthening marketing execution and leading high-impact cross-BU BID initiatives that engage sales, deepen customer engagement and accelerate new product adoption This role is being offered as hybrid (4 days office and 1 day home) based in our office in Inchinnan, Scotland or Alcobendas, Spain. Some international travel may be required - up to 25% per annum - including some overnight stays. Responsibilities: Enhance customer engagement by developing and delivering BID-level integrated marketing campaigns. Increase BID sales efficiency and enablement through the design and execution of sales activation campaigns. Improve new product adoption by supporting regional initiatives focused on launch excellence, adoption strategies, sales engagement planning, and data analytics. Improve regional market development efficiency by optimizing marketing processes to strengthen customer acquisition and nurture strategies. Drive growth across all BUs in emerging markets through dedicated marketing campaigns and targeted sales enablement activities. This role may occasionally be asked to lead other BID projects and perform other tasks as needed. Minimum Requirements/Qualifications: Advanced degree with a minimum of 4 years of marketing experience in life sciences or a related industry. Strong understanding of marketing fundamentals, including the 4Ps, segmentation, and value proposition development. Proven expertise in developing and executing multi-channel marketing strategies and campaigns. Experience designing and implementing sales enablement campaigns and tools. Experience with digital marketing channels and tactics. Knowledge of life science research markets and the competitive landscape preferred. Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Strong analytical capabilities to measure campaign performance and drive data-based decision-making. Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and operating within complex organisation to achieve goals. Strong business acumen with a customer-centric mindset. Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%.
