Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Data Processing Engineer to join the Aero Innovation team within the Motorsports Aerodynamic Department. Your primary responsibility will be to develop complex data pipelines and data-processing systems to enhance our aerodynamics development activities for motorsport and high-performance vehicles. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to design, develop, and optimize solutions that address technical challenges, contributing significantly to our competitiveness.

What You’ll Do
1. Architect, design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines for large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
2. Integrate data from various sources, including on-prem and cloud databases, data lakes, APIs, and vendors.
3. Ensure data integrity, quality, and consistency through automated validation and monitoring.
4. Identify and optimize performance bottlenecks in data workflows.
5. Collaborate with Data Scientists, Product Managers, Engineers, and Aerodynamicists to develop data solutions.
6. Write clean, maintainable code adhering to best practices.
7. Prepare technical reports, specifications, and presentations for stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
2. 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related fields.
3. Proficiency in Python, C++, and Java.
4. Experience with Kafka, Flink, Databricks.
5. Knowledge of distributed computing systems like SLURM, LSF.
6. Experience with relational and non-relational databases (SQL, MongoDB).
7. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
8. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
9. Excellent interpersonal skills for collaboration.

1. Master’s degree in relevant fields.
2. Experience in motorsports industry.
3. Knowledge of data governance, privacy, security best practices.
4. Experience with HPC architecture.
5. Hands-on with instrumentation and Data Acquisition systems.
6. Skilled in developing live streaming data pipelines.
7. Familiarity with aerodynamic testing and practices.
