 
        
        We're looking to add an Apprentice to our Aspris IT team!
As a Junior IT Helpdesk Apprentice, you will be responsible for helping to deliver helpdesk services to the company within required SLA’s and policies. You will also achieve a Level 3 Information Communications Technician qualification whilst you work!
We're looking for someone who has a keen interest in IT who is looking to make a successful career with the help of Aspris - providing support to colleagues across 92 homes, schools and colleges, as well our Central Aspris teams.
The role:
 * Involvement in the commissioning of IT equipment across the Group and be willing to attend sites as and when necessary; including central offices
 * Compete all formal and informal training provided within the expected timescales
 * Deliver telephone and remote IT support to users across the business by answering, recording and responding to all incoming calls and emails to the IT Helpdesk
 * Analyse and resolve incidents from all areas of the company within agreed service levels whilst ensuring 1st line resolution is achieved wherever possible
 * Escalate high-priority incidents to the Deputy IT Support Services Manager/ IT Support Services Manager where necessary
Experience:
 * Knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, Excel).
 * Knowledge of troubleshooting issues with PC hardware and peripherals
 * Keen to learn and ability to quickly understand new applications. Eager to learn the support process for administration of Office365 and hardware support processes
 * Able to work well individually and as part of a team. As this is a support role for remote locations excellent written and verbal communication skills are vital
There may be some travel involved during this role so a driving licence is preferred, however it is not essential criteria.
