We re looking for an experienced people leader to manage our key Account managers and Contract Sales/Specification Managers across Wales, North West England and across the central belt. This is your chance to bring new energy, shape the strategy, and drive volume growth in a critical part of the business with the support of a strong, capable team behind you.
What will you be doing day-to-day?
* Leading and coaching a team of Key Account Managers and Contract Sales/Specification Managers
* Delivering ambitious volume growth targets across the region
* Building and executing regional sales strategies aligned to wider business goals
* Collaborating cross-functionally with Marketing, Finance, Merchants, CDC and more
* Managing your own portfolio of key accounts, developing senior relationships with national contractors, housebuilders, and large construction customers
You ll know you re succeeding when your team is engaged and outperforming expectations, customers are getting the support they need, and your strategy is embedded and delivering results.

* Is confident leading people and can balance support with stretch
* Understands how to implement strategy and drive performance through others
* Has strong commercial and collaborative instincts
* Can take ownership of customer relationships at senior level and lead by example
* Brings experience in a similar sales leadership or national account role ideally within construction, coatings, or a related industry (but we re open)
* Experience managing a field-based team and working with large, contractor-led accounts is ideal. A background within construction, coatings, or a related industry would be a bonus but we value leadership impact over industry knowledge.
Who will you be working with?
You ll report directly into senior leadership and work closely with peers across the commercial functions. The team you ll lead is experienced and collaborative they re looking for someone who ll champion their ideas, challenge them to grow, and support their success.
