Job Description:
The Pharmacy team at Pulse is currently recruiting for a Band 6 Pharmacy Technician in Smethwick. The successful candidate will work full-time, Monday to Friday, 09:00am – 17:30pm. This role is available to start ASAP; the starting pay rate for this job is up to £29.00 per hour all inclusive.

Role Requirements:
* Position of MSO/Governance lead vacant – planned recruitment post MMUH (8b grade). Responsibilities are spread over the wider team, including some technical team members. Cover is required to undertake some of the less technical responsibilities.
* MMUH Project work – with increasing workload for MMUH & complexities of the Pharmacy programme. Cover is needed to free up staff to undertake the work by covering some of the less technical aspects of their roles.
Essential skills:
* Experience in undertaking roles related to Medicines management.
* Management of Pharmacy Technician within a hospital setting (drug histories, patient’s own drug assessment, ordering, counseling).
* Labelling and dispensing experience and knowledge of JAC computer system.
* Holds the Accredited Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACPT) qualification.
* At least 2 years NHS experience.
