Working Hours: Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5.30pm, 1 in 4 Saturdays 8.30am – 1pm
Our client seeks a fully trained Technician to join their successful motor trade team within a busy main dealer. You should be a team player, able to work to deadlines, and use your own initiative.
Vehicle Technician Responsibilities:
1. Undertake maintenance, service, and repair activities on motor vehicles to the highest standard.
2. Complete all work efficiently, adhering to manufacturer’s scheduled times.
3. Record diagnosis details, work completed, and components used as per standards.
4. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
5. Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers in a polite manner.
6. Maintain high customer satisfaction levels.
7. Manage a team of Vehicle Technicians.
8. Assist in managerial duties.
9. Train into Garage Manager role.
The Ideal Vehicle Technician:
* NVQ level 3 qualification or equivalent.
* At least 3 years’ experience in a Prestige Dealership or similar.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Good technical knowledge.
* Driving license required.
* Ability to work independently.
* Responsible for work quality and quantity.
* High Voltage Trained.
