Job Summary
We are looking for a committed practitioner to undertake a one‑year, BABCP‑accredited Postgraduate Diploma in CBT IAPT as a secondment into the Mid Cornwall CAMHS service. The training will be fully funded, delivered by the University of Exeter, and will take place 2 days a week in university and 2‑3 days a week in community mental health settings.

* Band 6; Salary: £38,682 – £46,580 per annum (pro‑rata)

Responsibilities
* Provide evidence‑based interventions to children and young people in line with CYP‑IAPT core principles.
* Attend all training sessions and complete the postgraduate diploma, including portfolio development.
* Work collaboratively within a multi‑disciplinary and multi‑agency setting.
* Maintain accurate case notes and submit progress reports within agreed timeframes.
* Participate in supervision and quality improvement activities.
Qualifications & Experience
* Essential: Professional qualification – RN (Mental Health / Child), OT, Social Worker or Psychologist, plus experience working with CYP in a complex mental health service.
* Level 6 qualification plus a core profession recognised by BABCP, or eligibility to complete the course via the KSA route (minimum 2 years therapeutic experience).
* Experience of working in a child‑focused multi‑agency setting and delivering evidence‑based interventions.
Desirable
* Relevant intervention qualification beyond the Level 6 requirement.
* Current knowledge and up‑to‑date understanding of CAMHS legislation and policy.
