Role Overview
As a Foundation Phase Teacher, you’ll support children aged 3 to 7 in a setting where creativity, play, and exploration take centre stage. This school champions a positive and inclusive environment—and welcomes applications from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers.
What You’ll Be Doing
Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate lessons
Supporting each child’s unique learning and development
Creating a nurturing, inclusive classroom where all children feel valued
Building strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
Following school policies on behaviour, safeguarding, and wellbeing
Completing planning and assessments for long-term placements when required
What We’re Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK – Early Career Teachers encouraged to apply
Classroom experience or a genuine interest in Foundation Phase teaching
A nurturing approach with confident behaviour management
A proactive, positive attitude and dedication to early years education
Registered with the Education Workforce Council (or willing to register)
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply – we can help)
A driving licence and access to transport is helpful, but not essential
