Morson Edge are working with a major player in the Energy sector who have a current requirement for a Construction Logistics Distribution Lead on a CONTRACT basis. This role is involved with Final Mile Logistics on one of Europe's largest construction / infrastructure Projects in Bridgwater, Somerset. It's a unique opportunity to join our client's established site-based team and make a difference, as the Project transitions to its next Project cycle.
Broad Scope
1. The Construction Logistics Distribution Lead (CLDL) is responsible for overseeing and optimising the Final Mile Logistics (FML) distribution strategy to manage the logistics flow of permanent material from arrival at site through to the construction areas.
2. The CLDL is accountable for aligning distribution activities with project timelines, maintaining safety and compliance standards, and driving operational efficiency.
3. By streamlining last-mile delivery processes, the role plays a critical part in ensuring construction milestones are met and resources are effectively allocated.
