Monday to Thursday 07.30am to 16.30 & Fridays 07.30 to 13.20pm

Our client is seeking a SHEETMETAL OPERATOR (CNC Press Brake) to join them on a temporary on-going basis. For the right candidate it could lead to a perm role.
1. Setup and operation of the CNC Brake Press (training provided) including part operations, tool setup, machine processes, software control and part database management
2. Perform internal maintenance tasks on the Brake Press as specified by check sheets and routine maintenance plans
3. Reporting of any issues with the Brake Press to the sheet metal engineer or production manager
4. Setup and operation of sheet metal workshop machinery (training provided)
5. Successfully manufacture items to required specifications and known timescales
Accountable for ensuring all work and tasks carried out are completed to the highest quality standard
6. Working towards production schedules to meet deadlines and targets as instructed
7. Ability to undertake tasks as instructed across workshop production including raw material handling, deburring, part assembly, finishing operations and workshop housekeeping
CV must show:
8. Ability to setup and operate CNC machinery and understand CNC operating software
9. Ability to setup and use sheet metal and workshop tooling
10. Competent to perform hands on/manual tasks
11. Ability to read, understand and follow production documents, product layouts and
technical drawings
12. Competent numeracy and literacy skills
13. Able to follow instructions closely when given
14. Able to work on own initiative
15. Team Player
Candidates must hold:
16. Passport or Birth Certificate with proof of National Insurance
