Job Description

We are seeking a professional, approachable, and highly organized Receptionist to be the first point of contact at our Wavenet Office and Recovery Centre. This role is vital in maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment while ensuring smooth daily operations.

You will support site administration, manage access control, uphold reception standards, and coordinate daily activities. If you take pride in creating a positive first impression, enjoy attention to detail, and thrive in a varied support role, we want to hear from you.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Greet and register visitors and contractors professionally, following ID and Health & Safety procedures.
2. Serve as the central point for all site activity and manage the on-site diary.
3. Maintain a clean, welcoming reception area and uphold front-of-house standards.
4. Coordinate meeting room bookings and prepare spaces as needed.
5. Manage building access, program visitor passes, and maintain key/card registers.
6. Coordinate with security providers and manage out-of-hours procedures.
7. Handle incoming calls and direct queries appropriately.
8. Assist with administrative tasks, reporting, and stock management.
9. Support the Centre Manager with additional duties to ensure operational readiness.


Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have a friendly, professional demeanor and the ability to keep things running smoothly at front-of-house. We are looking for:


Experience & Knowledge

* Previous experience in a reception or front-of-house role
* Confident and professional telephone manner
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Good PC literacy and familiarity with basic office systems
* Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

* Smart, presentable, and professional appearance
* Flexible, reliable, and proactive
* Positive attitude with a strong work ethic
* Calm under pressure with multitasking abilities
