FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Senior Pega Business Architect to work for our client within the public sector. This is initially a 7-month contract with the potential to extend and will be a fully remote role.
Our client is seeking highly skilled and experienced Senior Pega Business Architect to lead the design and optimisation of business processes within our Pega-based digital transformation initiatives. This pivotal role acts as a bridge between business requirements and technical delivery, ensuring that all solutions are scalable, reusable, and aligned with strategic objectives.
Responsibilities
1. Lead the creation of Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) that align with project objectives and measurable outcomes
2. Develop and refine user stories in adherence to INVEST principles, supporting agile sprint planning and execution
3. Conduct stakeholder interviews and document insights to ensure alignment with business goals and traceability of requirements
4. Maintain a prioritised requirements matrix and a traceability matrix linking all requirements to overarching business needs
5. Collaborate with stakeholders to review and obtain formal approval for Functional Specification Documents
6. Document current (“as-is”) processes, capturing all relevant activities, decision points, and outcomes
7. Design improved (“to-be”) processes with measurable enhancements, aligned with Pega case management best practices
8. Ensure all solution components are fully documented, including relevant diagrams and technical details
9. Guarantee that all deliverables pass quality assurance gates prior to deployment
10. Design components with reusability in mind, applicable across multiple use cases
