Forklift Loader (Temp - Perm)
Location: Tilbury, EssexPay Rate: £13.25 per hourContract Type: Temporary - Permanent
Job Purpose:
We are seeking experienced FLT drivers to join our clients warehouse team in Tilbury on a temp - perm basis. This role involves key warehouse operations including loading, goods-in, and preparing pallets for dispatch.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate forklift trucks safely and efficiently to load and unload goods
* Manage goods-in processes, including checking and recording deliveries
* Banding and wrapping pallets to company standards
* Maintain a clean and organised working environment
* Follow all health and safety procedures and site rules
* Work collaboratively with warehouse colleagues and supervisors
Requirements:
* Valid and in-date FLT licence
* Proven experience in a similar warehouse or logistics role
* Good understanding of warehouse safety and manual handling practices
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
Desirable:
* Experience with banding and wrapping pallets
* Familiarity with goods-in procedures and stock control systems
