Portfolio Pathway (formerly known as CESR - Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration) route doctors are only eligible to apply for a substantive consultant post once it has been awarded. Non-UK applicants must demonstrate equivalent training.
Post details
Applications are welcome for the above Permanent, full time/part time post based in the Royal Hospital for Children and Young People. This is a substantive consultant post in Paediatric Intensive Care Medicine, based at the Royal Hospital for Children and Young People. It is a replacement post. The post will be available from 1st April 2026. As a consultant in a National Service with a Scotland wide referral practice, the post holder may be required to work outside Lothian. There will potentially be sessions available in the successful applicant’s base specialty.
