Are you a reliable and customer-focused driver with a knack for delivery and installation? Acorn by Synergie is recruiting a Delivery Driver / Installer for a well-established client based in Central Widnes. This is a temporary-to-permanent role offering competitive pay, excellent benefits, and the opportunity for immediate start.
Details:
Monday to Friday, 9am - 5:15pm (some flexibility required due to delivery schedules).
30-minute lunch break (flexible timing).
Key Responsibilities:
Picking, preparing, and loading stock for deliveries.
Delivery and professional installation of products in client homes.
Assembling products accurately according to company specifications.
Organising stock and maintaining a clean, tidy warehouse environment.
Checking in and recording stock arrivals.
Providing excellent customer service at all times.
Candidate Requirements:
Full clean driving licence essential.
No criminal record.
Previous experience in delivery and warehouse roles preferred.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively within a team.
Flexibility regarding working hours and occasional overnight stays (1-2 times per month).
Basic IT and admin skills for stock management using computerised systems.
Mechanical aptitude is advantageous.
Forklift truck (FLT) experience beneficial but not essential.
Additional Role Information:
Starting pay rate: £12.56 per hour, with a pay increase after 12 weeks of service.
Food allowance provided for extended road time (£5 for over 5 hours, £10 for over 10 hours).
24 days holiday per year plus 8 public holidays, accrued.
DBS check required for the role.
