Job Description
The Learning Disability Service in Dundee is a joint Social Work and Health team providing a range of services to adults with a learning disability, including housing support, care at home, social care, respite, and day opportunities. We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Social Care Workers to join our teams across Dundee. The position is part-time, 30-35 hours per week. Requirements
* You must have, or be willing to obtain, SVQ2 in Care.
* You will have 3 National 4s, or equivalent.
* You will have the opportunity to undertake work-related training and development.
* You should be willing to undertake shift work, including evenings, weekends, and night duties on a rota basis.
* Flexibility and adaptability are essential to cope with change.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for duties related to the operation of the Learning Disability Service, adhering to the Scottish Social Services Council Codes of Practice and The Scottish Commission for the Regulation of Care, National Care Standards.

* Previous experience working within a care setting and providing personal care is required.
* You should demonstrate initiative and confidence to support individuals and resources effectively.
* You will actively participate as part of a team, offering a wide range of opportunities to service users to help them achieve their potential.
* This role is suitable for anyone interested in working with adults who have a learning disability.
* This post is considered Regulated Work with Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
* The preferred candidate will need to join or update the PVG Scheme before a formal employment offer is made by Dundee City Council.
