Bennett & Game are representing a multidisciplinary consultancy seeking an Associate Director to join and help lead their Civil and Structural Engineering team. The successful candidate will play a key role in project delivery and team performance across a growing portfolio of industrial and manufacturing developments, supported by commercial and bespoke projects.
This is a senior leadership position combining technical oversight, project management, people leadership, client relationship development and business growth within a fully integrated civil and structural environment.
Role Overview
1. Act as Project Lead on medium and large schemes, managing programmes, resources, budgets and delivery
2. Lead and develop the Civil / Structural Engineering team, allocating workloads and coordinating resources
3. Arrange and chair project commencement meetings
4. Produce project programmes and resourcing schedules
5. Monitor delivery against agreed timescales and financial targets
6. Manage invoicing for projects delivered by your team
7. Provide mentoring and technical guidance to engineers and technicians
8. Ensure all deliverables are technically sound, approved and compliant with relevant standards
9. Maintain quality assurance and checking procedures across the team
10. Act as key client contact, representing all engineering services
