Senior Children\'s Occupational Therapist – Healing Touch Rehab Ltd, Leeds LS18 4TJ. We are a private company established in 2013. Our Director and Owner, Kay Ganguly, has over 24 years\' experience as a Neurological Physiotherapist (specialising in paediatrics). Healing Touch Rehab work with children, offering assessments, recommendations and treatment for a wide range of needs. Our therapists work alongside schools, families, case managers and schools. Part time and full-time applicants will be considered (minimum 2 days a week).

Healing Touch Rehab is an established private occupational therapy practice for children based in West Yorkshire at our rehab centre in Horsforth, and also covering East Yorkshire, Humberside and the North West of England. We pride ourselves on providing high quality, holistic services that focus on enhancing the quality of people\'s lives to the best of their ability. Our team includes physiotherapists, occupational therapists, Speech and Language Therapists, rehabilitation assistants, personal trainers and a supportive administrative team. Personal and professional development is fully supported. Clinical supervision and appraisals are facilitated. We offer in-house training and quarterly away days. We are a family-owned, friendly, supportive business that is growing year on year. We are recruiting due to increasing demand for our services.
Role and responsibilities
* You will be responsible for holding your own caseload, providing occupational therapy assessments and treatment for clients with a range of conditions (e.g., cerebral palsy, Down\'s syndrome, head injuries, spinal injuries, muscular dystrophy, developmental delay, DCD, autism, sensory processing difficulties, ADHD, fine motor and perceptual difficulties).
* The post may include providing specialist equipment and adaptation assessments and recommendations as required.
* You may work within schools, other education settings, clinics, children\'s homes or the wider community.
* Full-time admin support is offered by an efficient support team (secretaries and client liaison manager).
About you
* You will be a dynamic and approachable individual.
* You will be HCPC registered and keep up to date with CPD.
* You will have experience or a keen interest in neurology.
* You will be passionate about OT and your clients.
* You will be able to work independently and as part of a team.
* You will be willing and able to supervise junior team members.
Requirements
* HCPC registration (required).
* Experience: Occupational Therapist, 1 year (required).
* Education: Bachelor\'s degree (required).
* Work authorisation: United Kingdom (required).
* UK professional registration is required.
* Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check; post subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975.
