3-month initial contract
Rate: £25p/h (Umbrella / LTD) – Outside IR35
Our client
We are currently seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to support a key project on-site for an initial 3-month contract, with potential for extension and ongoing work. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team and be involved in a variety of mechanical fitting and assembly tasks within a busy manufacturing environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
Carrying out mechanical fitting, assembly, and installation of equipment and components
Working from detailed engineering drawings and specifications to ensure quality and accuracy
Installation and alignment of pipework, valves, pumps, and associated mechanical parts
Identifying and reporting any issues or defects to the Site Supervisor
The Successful Candidate
Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter in a manufacturing or assembly environment
Strong ability to read and interpret mechanical engineering drawings
Hands-on experience with mechanical assembly, installation, and general fitting tasks
Excellent attention to detail with a strong commitment to health, safety, and quality
Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
