Administration Officer
Hours: 30 hours per week, Term -Time only
Salary: Grade 5
Actual Salary: £18,299 to £19,190
Start date: as soon as possible
We are seeking a full time highly competent Administration Officer to provide organisational, administrative and financial support to the Bursar and Senior Leadership Team. This involves a range of responsibilities including reception duties, liaising with parents and outside agencies, maintaining school / pupil records, and financial / purchasing responsibilities.
Our pupils, parents and staff need an approachable and friendly person who enjoys working in a busy environment. This person will need to be well organised, flexible and feel confident working in a setting that caters for children who have a wide range of Social, Emotional, Mental Health and behavioural difficulties.
The successful candidate will need to:
* have a professional, confidential and friendly manner
* be highly motivated with a can-do attitude
* be happy to work as part of a team
* be extremely organised and able to prioritise a changing workload
* have experience of working in a busy client facing office environment, handling a large variety of activities
* be confident in operating a variety of ICT packages including MS word and excel packages
* be willing to undertake any training required
* experience of working in a school would be beneficial
* familiarity with SIMS would be beneficial
