Your newpany This Facilities Managementpany is looking to add a 1st line engineer to their service desk. The role is based at their head office north of Salisbury, so you'll need your own transport, but free parking is available.
Your new role As a member of the IT Service Desk team, you will provide technical support to the client's users, mainly over the phone but sometimes in person, ensuring they stay productive. Thepany values your growth and offers ITIL V3 andpTIA+ certifications to help you develop your skills. This is a wonderful chance to grow and expand your expertise.
What you'll need to succeed
You must be eligible for SC clearance (lived and worked in the UK for the last 5 years minimum)
1. Proficient in Microsoft operating systems and applications, including Microsoft Office 2016+ and Windows 10.
2. IT support experience in a distributed / hybrid multi-office environment.
3. IT Service Desk reporting ( ticket analysis, reporting on KPIs such as ‘first time fix’, trend analysis).
4. Experience of hardware and software refresh initiatives, including provisioning of end-user devices.
5. Experience with device configuration management tools.
6. Problem Management (including Root Cause Analysis).
