Great opportunity to work as a Bakery Line Leader for a large food manufacturing company. Staffline is recruiting for a Bakery Line Leader to work in Wakefield. The pay rates for this position are: (0 -12 weeks) = £14.06 (13 - 26 weeks) = £14.46 (26 weeks) = £14.86 This is a full-time role working fixed shifts. The hours of work are: - 6am to 2pm - 2pm to 10pm - 10pm to 6am Your Time at Work As a Bakery Line Leader your main responsibility will be to oversee day-to-day operations of the production line. Other duties include: -Ensuring production targets (quantity and quality) are met within deadlines. -Maintaining safety, cleanliness, and compliance with industry regulations. -Monitoring and reducing downtime by troubleshooting issues quickly. -Coordinating with other departments (maintenance, quality, supply chain) to ensure smooth workflow. -Training and mentoring production staff, support skill development. Our Perfect Worker Our ideal Bakery Line Leader will have proven experience in a manufacturing or production supervisory role, strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and safety protocols, good leadership and team management skills, the ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and problem-solving and decision-making capabilities. Experience in a similar role required.
