General Teaching Assistant | Bury, Suffolk | Immediate Start | 2 days a week
A friendly Primary School based in Bury are looking for a dynamic, kind, and hard-working experienced GENERAL Teaching Assistant to join their ever-growing team in ASAP! You will be working part time 2 days a week (Thursday and Friday) with various primary aged children.
The school is a popular three-form entry mainstream Primary School with a supportive leadership team. The school is going from strength to strength and providing training to all staff.
CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS
1. ASAP start
2. Duration: sick cover
3. Contract type: Contracted
4. Part-time – Thursday and Friday only
5. Minimum rate £90 per day*
6. Hours – 8:15am – 3:45pm
The successful applicants will have:
7. Experience working with primary aged-children (DESIRABLE)
8. Ability to effectively communicate with students, staff and parents/careers
9. Excellent literacy, numeracy & ICT skills
10. Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate.
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
11. Hold an enhanced child, child & adult barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
12. Free, accredited continued professional development courses including safeguarding and behaviour management
