Work Environment
Depending on your business area, you may work in the office at least once a week and attend OVO Connection events in person. You’ll be assigned to the nearest hub office in Bristol, Glasgow, or London, unless your role requires field-based work. Each hub offers accessible spaces designed to inspire and connect.

Team and Role Overview
Within OVO’s Energy Markets and Optimisation (EMO) function, this role is part of the Energy Value team. You will develop market-leading propositions and tariffs, providing insights that support commercial decisions.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead Ovo’s unit economics modelling for domestic flexibility.
* Provide value modelling for customer propositions involving EV charging, heat pumps, batteries, solar, etc.
* Collaborate on tariff pricing, structuring, and innovative design features.
* Maintain reporting on risks to Value and Gross Margin.
Ideal Candidate Profile
* Degree in Maths, Physics, Engineering, or similar.
* 2+ years experience in a commercial, analytical, or science-based energy role.
* Strong commercial awareness and ability to work with ambiguity.
* Skilled in data manipulation and reporting, with experience in BigQuery, Tableau/Looker, Python, Github, or keen to learn.
* Experience in value modelling of domestic flexibility.

* Self-starter comfortable with undefined tasks and fast-paced environments.
