Job Overview
A trusted, sustainably‑minded multidisciplinary consultancy is expanding its reach with a brand‑new office in Dunfermline. They are seeking an enthusiastic Senior Civil Engineer to support design and delivery of diverse infrastructure projects, including highways, drainage, housing developments and energy engineering.

Responsibilities
* Contribute to design of multiple projects and developments
* Oversee day‑to‑day operations of projects from inception to delivery
* Mentor and support colleagues’ professional development
* Liaise with clients and stakeholders in the public and private sectors
* Prepare and review technical documents (reports, specifications, drawings, calculations, risk assessments, method statements)
* Adhere to company policies, procedures, best practice and health and safety standards
* Represent the company at client meetings and site visits
Required Skills and Experience
* UK degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering
* Chartered status with a recognised professional body (e.g., ICE)
* Experience in a design‑based role within a UK consultancy or local authority
* Significant experience with infrastructure (highways, drainage), housing developments and energy projects
* Experience in earthworks and drainage network modelling
* Proficient in Civils 3D, MicroDrainage, AutoCAD and related software packages
* Strong technical drafting and documentation skills
* Demonstrated client and stakeholder liaison experience
* Excellent organisational, time‑management, leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
Desirable Skills and Experience
* Higher degree in a relevant discipline
* Authoring flood risk assessments
* Preparing transport assessments
* Leading projects or teams
* Experience in a public‑facing role
* Full valid UK driving licence
