About Solar on steroids:
We put Solar & Renewables businesses on steroids.
We're an advertising agency that specialise in running Meta Ads for Solar companies.
We generate residential and commercial solar installation opportunities for growing installation businesses and focus exclusively on the results we deliver on a monthly basis.
Our monthly turnover has skyrocketed 28x in 6 months with no signs of slowing down. Not to mention, we haven't had a client sign on and stop working with us since we started in May 2023.
Your mission:
As Media Buyer at Solar on steroids, you will drive performance across our client Meta ad campaigns, ensuring we consistently deliver high-quality leads at efficient costs.
Role summary:
We need a performance-driven Media Buyer who can take ownership of day-to-day campaign management across client accounts.
You'll be working almost exclusively on Meta Ads and will be responsible for ensuring campaigns deliver high-quality leads at efficient CPLs & CPAs.
This is not a hands-off, 'optimise once a week' type of role. We're looking for someone who loves the data, thrives on testing, and takes pride in refining campaigns to squeeze every bit of value from them.
You will work alongside Joe, our cofounder, and manage over 6 figures in paid media advertising spend per month alongside him.
You'll learn our industry-leading paid media strategy, that has delivered results for every single client that we have advertised for.
Core responsibilities:
Campaign management:
* Launch, manage, and optimise lead generation campaigns across Meta platforms
* Continuously monitor performance, adjust budgets and creatives as needed
* Run A/B tests to iterate on audiences, placements, copy, and creatives
* Report key metrics, learnings, and next steps to internal team
* Collaborate with Performance Marketing Specialist to feedback performance insights and influence new creatives
* Identify winning ad elements and recommend optimisations
* Provide data-driven insights to guide creative strategy
Qualifications & skills:
Essential technical skills:
* Previous experience running Facebook/Meta Ads
* Strong understanding of the Meta platform (Business Manager, Ads Manager)
* Analytical skills with ability to interpret campaign data and pinpoint required adjustments
Work style & attributes:
* Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple campaigns at once
* You don't need to be told when something looks off — you investigate it
* Ability to work independently while maintaining alignment with company objectives
Who are we looking for?
* You're proactive, data-driven, and obsessed with results
* You don't guess — you test
* You're not scared to kill underperforming campaigns and try something bold
* You're accountable for the numbers and take pride in the impact you have
* You're actually good fun and want to be excited about day to day work
Compensation:
* £26,000 (OTE = £32,000 based on proportion of ad spend)
Growth opportunities:
* Potential to develop into a Head of Paid Media role as we scale our team
* Regular skill development through exposure to diverse client accounts
* Opportunity to shape and refine our media buying processes and standards
* Clear path for advancement based on campaign performance metrics
