Meet Our Client: We are currently supporting a teenage girl who lives in Bury with her family. She loves music and playing instruments, and enjoys singing with others. She communicates non-verbally through facial expressions, laughter and smiles. Weekday duties include accompanying her to school, providing support during the day (including personal care and transfers), and assisting with activities that are enjoyable and stimulating. On non-school days, you will help meet her needs and engage her in preferred activities. Note: our clients have the right to request either female or male staff; this vacancy has a female-only preference from the client.
Responsibilities
* Accompany the client to school and provide day-time support, including personal care and transfers
* Support the client with activities she enjoys to ensure a fun, stimulating day
* Assist with home transport arrangements and daily routines
What You'll Need
To be successful in this role, you should have experience as a Nursery Nurse or Childcare Practitioner, with a strong passion for supporting children and young people.

While clinical experience is not essential, you must be willing to undertake comprehensive training in areas such as:
* Tracheostomy care
* Ventilation management
* Gastrostomy care (PEG feeding)
* Personal care
* Moving and handling
